As Vice President of Facility Services, Hal provides project management services for Kayhan’s large, complex, and multi-site installations. Working in concert with the client, design firm, and contractor, Hal oversees each project’s installation crew and ensures timely, accurate installation of product.  With a detail-oriented and task-heavy role on projects, some key responsibilities include:

  •  Determination and notification of discrepancies or omissions from the specifications and furniture plans during the installation
  • Development of project schedule, establishing the flow and milestones of the installation starting with the initial deliveries thru punch list
  • Completion and dispersing of weekly manufacturer status reports, tracking product production runs, shipping, deliveries and lead times
  • Attendance at contractor construction meetings
  • Coordination of dock and elevator access for furniture deliveries
  • Coordination of product installation with the electrical contractor, IT contractor and AV contractor
  • Completion of post-install furniture inspection documenting, complete with punch list and follow-up coordination

A registered architect, Hal received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
