Interior Design Coursework Northern Illinois University
I love the Giraffa lights by Pablo for Haworth. They are playful, the perfect scale for a desktop, and look amazing in residential applications!
MY PATH IS MY OWN.
I studied Interior Design at Northern Illinois University with an intent to work in the residential sector.
After school I started working at Sears in their sign shop and then moved into the custom drapery department as a salesperson. I then worked at House of Shutters, eventually starting and running their repair and service department.
I moved into commercial furnishings with my first position at Kayhan, where I was in sales. My attention to detail and desire for process quickly diverted my talents from sales to account coordination. I developed new filing and reporting systems for the company which are in large part still used today.
I am driven to constantly develop more efficient ways to produce quality work for the company which in turn benefits our diverse client base.
PROUD TO CARRY THE KAYHAN FLAG.
I have worked at Kayhan for over 30 years because the company recognizes and rewards hard work. I was able to travel internationally to train our team for projects in Brazil and China!
I am given the freedom to continually think about the “whole” process and how it affects others, which makes my job fulfilling each day.
